One of the greatest Brazilian composers of all time, alongside Villa-Lobos and Pixinguinha, Antonio Carlos Jobim left a body of work comprised of more than 100 compositions, including classics that have garnered countless recordings abroad, such as the Garota de Ipanema, Corcovado and Desafinado. Considered the father of bossa nova, he created harmonies that opened up new avenues for Brazilian music.
